BPH Treatment Options

Enlarged prostate, or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), can cause frequent urination, weak flow, or difficulty emptying the bladder. Urology Alliance offers the full range of today’s most advanced, minimally invasive options designed to relieve symptoms while preserving sexual function and reducing downtime.

Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE)
A non-surgical procedure performed with interventional radiology, PAE blocks the blood supply to parts of the prostate to reduce its size and improve urinary symptoms.

Aquablation® Therapy
A heat-free, robotically controlled water-jet therapy that removes excess prostate tissue with precision. Aquablation combines surgical accuracy with minimal side effects.

HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate)
A laser procedure that removes obstructive prostate tissue efficiently and safely, ideal for men with larger prostates.

UroLift® System
A minimally invasive, in-office procedure that lifts and holds enlarged prostate tissue away from the urethra to restore normal urine flow without cutting, heating, or removing tissue. UroLift offers rapid recovery, preserves sexual function, and provides lasting relief for men with BPH-related urinary symptoms.

iTind® Procedure
A temporary, in-office implant reshapes the prostate and urethra to restore urine flow. After a few days, the device is removed leaving lasting relief.

Optilume® BPH Catheter System
Combines balloon dilation with a specialized coating to relieve obstruction and reduce scar tissue formation in the prostate.

Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP)

A time-tested, highly effective surgical treatment for enlarged prostate. During TURP, excess prostate tissue is carefully removed through the urethra using a small scope and electric loop, no incisions required. TURP reliably improves urine flow, relieves blockage, and provides long-term symptom relief, especially for men with moderate to severe BPH.
