Amanda Licea is a Physician Assistant at Urology Austin

Amanda Licea is a Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), who received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2012  from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Amanda is nationally certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and an active member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.

Prior to joining Urology Austin, Amanda Licea spent over five years practicing as a Physician Assistant in Family Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and Chronic Pain Management, treating an array of  medical conditions with competence and compassion. She is excited to be working closely with Dr. Peter Ruff, who has a special interest in minimally invasive robotic surgery for the treatment of prostate, fine kidney and bladder cancers and as well as urologic malformations.

With a special interest in men’s health, Amanda hopes to have a broadly positive impact in the lives of the patients she cares for through the emphasis of preventative care. In her free time, Amanda enjoys baking bread, hiking, and spending time with her family.
