Keren Stick is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with over 6 years working as a PA in the Austin area.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from THE Ohio State University and her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the University of Dayton.  She works with Dr. David Friedberg at the Round Rock #1 Office, specializing in Advanced Prostate Cancer.  In addition to seeing prostate cancer patients, Keren’s special interests include Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH or enlarged prostate), urinary tract infections, kidney stones, hormone replacement therapy, and overactive bladder.

Prior to joining Urology Austin, Keren worked as a General Surgery PA specializing in Foregut surgery.  In that role, she spent equal time in the Operating Room, in clinic, and seeing patients in the hospital.  She loves to perform procedures as a result.  Prior to becoming a PA, Keren spent a nearly 10 year career working for the government across the US.  Due to family and personal health challenges, she met a number of PAs who inspired her to change careers.

“I love being a PA because I feel like I’m making a huge impact on so many peoples’ lives on a daily basis.  I enjoy the relationships that I build with my patients and I love helping them solve medical puzzles to improve their lives and ultimately help them feel their best.”

When Keren is at home, she enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, Mouse.  Together with her husband and her young son and daughter, she likes to spend time outside, especially checking out all of the local farms and petting zoos and checking out all of the parks and hiking trails Austin has to offer.
