Dr. Krista Ortiz is a pelvic floor physical therapist at Urology Austin with advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy and osteopractic care. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nazareth College and completed a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, earning the distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).

Dr. Ortiz holds a Diploma in Osteopractic with certifications in Spinal Manipulation Therapy and Dry Needling, along with advanced training in Functional Medicine and Craniosacral Therapy. She has treated patients across a wide range of physical therapy settings, including orthopedics, chronic pain, geriatrics, neurology, and acute care. Her extensive training and diverse clinical background give her a comprehensive perspective on how the body functions as an integrated system.
Her clinical interests include pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, wellness, and nervous system regulation. She enjoys staying up to date on the newest research and techniques in order to provide the most effective and evidence-based care for her patients
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Ortiz enjoys playing competitive poker, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs. She is committed to helping patients feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their recovery.
