Miranda Hardee, MD is a board certified urologist with Urology Austin
Dr. Miranda Hardee completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Biology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She continued her studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Medicine. Afterwards, she completed her urology residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah, and is Board Certified in Urology.
Dr. Hardee enjoys caring for both male and female patients and treating all urologic diseases. She takes great pride in helping patients overcome their urologic problems and restoring their quality of life. She has specific interests in treating kidney stones, urinary incontinence, enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, and low testosterone. She also has a strong interest in female urology and treating problems such as recurrent urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, and pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Hardee is licensed to prescribe medical cannabis for diagnoses of spasticity and cancer history.
Dr. Hardee has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented research at national and international meetings on multiple urologic topics. Her research includes management of traumatic kidney injuries, decreasing prostate biopsy related infections, and evaluating the evidence for robotic-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy.
